Hello everyone,

As you all know, it's been quite a difficult several weeks for the folks of the Gulf Coast. Fortunately, all of us in BTE and our families made it out safe and sound. Tom's in McComb, Travis in Shreveport, and I'm in San Antonio...all of us with family. Our homes escaped flooding and any significant damage from the wind. We consider ourselves quite fortunate, for as you know, many people lost everything. If you haven't already, please make your presence felt by donating your time or money to the relief effort. It's only with your help that the great city of New Orleans will rise again. In the meantime, we'll be out on the road performing shows and doing what we can for the relief effort. If you're interested in a great tribute to New Orleans...go to Harry Shearer's Le Show podcast from September 4 (available for free at the itunes music store or harryshearer.com). It is a humorous and touching look at all the unique elements of New Orleans that make it so special. Okay, this week we're going to be doing quite a lot. Tuesday it's a telethon on Sirius satellite's NFL station. Wednesday we'll be performing on ESPN's Cold Pizza, and Thursday it's everyone's favorite...The Tony Danza show. Has anyone else gotten a kick out of the Desperate Housewives commercials? They have provided some much needed levity in these rather dire past few weeks.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL - MONDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2005:
Watch the 1st Monday Night Football Game - NY Giants v. New Orleans Saints as BTE will be interviewed by ESPN at halftime.

SIRIUS NFL RADIOTHON - TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 20, 2005
The SIRIUS NFL Radiothon for Hurricane Relief will take place all day Tuesday, September 20, 2005 on SIRIUS NFL Radio // channel 124. The entire broadcast will also be streamed live on NFL.com.

Personalities from the worlds of sports, politics and entertainment, along with those directly involved with the relief effort, will appeal for contributions to the New Orleans Saints Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, formed by the Saints to provide aid and assistance to the people of New Orleans, Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region affected by the natural disaster. An independent Board of Directors will allocate and administer funds to the affected people. Listeners will be directed to log on to www.sirius.com or call a toll free number to make a contribution.


ESPN'S COLD PIZZA - WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2005
BTE will be taping ESPN's Cold Pizza on Wednesday.
